DRIVERS are being warned to watch out for deer on rural roads aruond Petersfield and across East Hampshire.

Country Land and Business Association spokesman Robin Edwards said: “Accidents involving deer tend to increase in the autumn, when deer are moving in large numbers. They are often on the roads, especially at dawn and dusk, and with shorter daylight hours and often poor visibility, drivers need to be particularly vigilant.”
