NEW stalls will join regulars at the 2022 Easter Charity Market to be held for the first time at The Petersfield School hall.

The Easter Market, having had a two-year break because of the pandemic, returns on Saturday, April 16.

Organisers of the charity markets, brothers Martin and Jeremy Holmes, moved the venue for their markets from the Festival Hall to the Petersfield School in December with the Christmas Market raising £600 for Portsmouth Hospitals Charity cancer services fund.

The hospital charity will continue to be the main beneficiary at Easter.

New stalls at the Easter Market include Claire Garrett with her hand-made novelty figures, Nikki James selling framed pictures, and Mary Powell bringing My Chocolate Explosion, introducing all things chocolate.

Jenny Miles from Petersfield will also be selling hand-made crafts.

Regulars will include Sue Upton supporting Petersfield Musical Festival and John Starling of Liss selling his popular cards and prints.

Ivy Watson from Midhurst has been a stallholder at the markets for more than 30 years and returns with her haberdashery, household goods and bric-a-brac.

Also on sale will be books, skin care products, silver jewellery and Easter gifts.

Petersfield Winton Players will be promoting their comedy A Bunch Of Amateurs in the Festival Hall from April 28 to April 30.

A raffle will be held for Portsmouth Hospitals Charity and refreshments are to be served. To book a pitch, contact Jeremy Holmes on 07798 753836.
