UNLESS Petersfield businesses take more interest, there won't be a 2015 Christmas lights switch-on event.
That is the blunt message from the organisers of the popular Star Wars-themed event last Christmas.
The Association of Petersfield Businesses (APB) has 50 members, but says unless more become actively involved in supporting and running the organisation, it will disband next month.
Association spokeswoman Tracey Richardson said: "The committee has done its very best to engage with the business community, provide links to local authorities, signpost other business organisations, and run profile raising events for the town....
