SCOOTERS from all over the south coast were on display in Petersfield for the return of a popular event.
Scooter Sunday returned to the town centre for a second time. The event was run by clothing shop The Five Fifteen, with support from The Square Brewery, which provided the venue, and Soul Pressure Sound System, which entertained with a DJ set.
It’s the second Scooter Sunday event, following the success of last year.
Owner of The Five Fifteen Martin Constable said: “This year it got even bigger. People came from as far as Bournemouth, Brighton and Worthing. It’s just growing and growing. There was also a big turnout from all the lads from Portsmouth who were joined by people from Fareham and Gosport.
“There was a brilliant atmosphere. We had a really good reaction from everyone involved. Lots of people enjoyed it.
“I think we are doing something people like. It brings some money into the town as well. The shops were quite happy with their takings for the day. It puts Petersfield on the map.
“I would like to thank everybody who attended.”
Around £250 was raised for The Rowans Hospice in a raffle.
