A COMEDIAN who died early this week was a “funny, lovely man” according to the organisers of the hugely-popular Comedy All Stars show which is held at Horndean Technology College.

Sean Hughes was due to return to Horndean on February 23 next year having performed a few years ago to a “rapturous reception” in Barton Hall.

The 51-year-old comic died in hospital on Monday.
